Welcome to the course blog for Minnesota State University’s Communication Studies 100 (Fundamentals of Communication).
Click the“Exploring Further” page and you’ll find weekly entries containing one to three items relating to the week’s course material. Viewing the items found in the blog is entirely voluntary–you will not be tested on these materials. The weekly entries are here simply so you can explore further if you’d like.
This site does not contain course assignments, grading rubrics, etc. All of those items can be found on the D2L page for your specific section of the course.
Below you’ll notice a Twitter feed Dr. Engen provides for all his students. The items in the Twitter feed sometimes relate to class discussions but just as often to things like job opportunities on campus, community events of interest, etc. Feel no pressure to view the Twitter feed, but it is hoped some students will benefit from the content.
